Touched by the massive refugee wave, volunteers travel to Greece to help the people arriving in the boats. What they experience at the beaches and in the camps, changes their lives for ever. Back in Switzerland they are torn between their former steady life and the rising urge to stand up for political change. The film shows the birth of a citizens’ movement in the middle of Europe that defends our humanitarian tradition.
